This Air Plant has found itself a home on a salmon lure that was beachcombed from the Washington coast.
The lure was originally used to catch Salmon. It has aged.. distressed.. rusted.. patina... naturally from years of sun and salt water.
Hanging from the lure is a LIVE Neglecta Air Plant. The hook can be placed in between the leaves, allowing plant to positioned in a variety of ways.
Air Plants, also known as Tillandsia, are very low maintenance. They don't require soil to grow, only moderate light, proper air flow and a good soak every week.
