Hey there fanboyz and girlz and nonbinary individuals!
You might be thinking that all I ever talk about lately is #Tushiez and @Storenvy. This isn't true... although those are both things that I love from the bottom* of my heart. The truth is, when I'm not writing blog posts, what I spend most of my time doing - my first love, as it were - is interacting with EarthSeaWarrior's cray-mazing customers. The awesome funny thing about working for a small business is getting to have these really personal interactions with everyone who shops with ESW. So, in honor of Small Business Saturday, I'd like to introduce you to Bob. Bob contacted us a few weeks ago with an unbelievably strange and ridiculously funny product "inquiry." SO IT BEGINS:
Sometimes customers write in asking why we don't ship air plants outside the United States, sometimes they want to know why our Tushiez Soiree set doesn't come with maraschino cherries, and sometimes they just want to say hello. Sometimes... they make me feel weird inside. So... I try to make them feel weird right back.
Huge corporations, I imagine, don't have the opportunity to hear from these people, correspond with them, and listen to what they have to say. It's hard to believe that, living in the Rabbit Hole, there are people on the other side of the looking glass who have weirder things to show us than we do. I've been in touch this week with a beautiful individual, Bob, whose clip art and correspondence I can only describe as life-changing.
A few days ago, Bob told me about a dilemma he's facing. The cryptic message read simply, "I'm in love, but I don't know with who!" and attached was a photo featuring four - presumably - romantic options.
Dear reader, I didn't know what to say. I've never been one for advice, and this seems like a sensitive issue. So I thought, who better to answer a question than strangers on the internet?
