Warning, this item in not for the squeamish! Although I must say, it is one of the prettiest bugs I've ever seen!
From ESW's "More Than Precious Jewels" collection is this antique like glass box featuring a REAL Zanna Nobili's ( aka lantern fly) which we've named "Sleeping Zanna," and is sleeping on a Gold Citrine Crystal.
Usually the glass box is made for jewelry, but we believe that "Zanna" the sleeping bug is a "more than precious jewel" all in itself.
Sleeping Zanna flew from Malaysia and has been preserved and is fully intact and in beautiful condition.
Zanna and crystal can be beautifully seen from all sides. The beveled edges magnifies this lantern fly, allowing one to closely view your pet without having to open the box, and were sure some people wouldn't want to, but if they do, don't worry she won't fly out ;)
Sleeping Zanna can be touched gently and you can feel its rough exterior and smooth wings.
She has 4 wings 2 that are white covered in black spots, and the other two are white with light blue colored veins.
